At worldblessings.org, WorldBlessings.one and Worldblessings.org we consider privacy to be a sacred trust. We will never rent or sell your personal information.  We operate under the following privacy policy guidelines:

Our Newsletters

If you sign up for our World Blessings newsletters, your name and email address is never rented, sold or otherwise used for any reason.  We use your email only to send you a notice when we have new information to share.

Our Online Community

Our WorldBlessings.one community has a number of privacy features.   You have the  choice to hide your profile from the member's directory, and the choice to not receive direct messages from other members.   

Email addresses of members are not available to other members unless you share that information in private messages or community posts.

Groups, Classes, Memberships  and Private Session Clients

The only information we obtain about our clients and members is information we need to process credit card charges. The information collected is never revealed, sold, traded or made public for any reason.

This information would only be disclosed if we were required to do so by a court-ordered authority.

Personally identifiable information provided by members (name, email or home address, etc.) is never disclosed to any individual or business.

Recordings of private Zoom sessions that you may request are sent only to you, and then deleted from our records.  

Cookies

A cookie is a string of information that worldblessings.org stores on your computer, which your browser provides to our site each time you return to the site.

Each time a subscriber logs into this site, we store a temporary 'cookie' in the browser files of that subscriber's computer. This cookie is used during your online session to allow you free access to the Subscribers Area, without repeatedly requiring you to re-enter your user name and password.

When you log off or leave the site, the cookies file is automatically removed.

In order to provide visitors with greater value, some of our pages may provide links to various third party websites. In no case is subscriber information or 'cookies' provided to the third party sites.

However, keep in mind that many sites do attempt to capture visitor information when you browse those sites. Once you leave our site, we are not able to alert you should another site attempt to gather information from your browser.

Member Privacy

Our members have completed a subscription form to provide financial support to our site, and to have access to our Member offerings and services.

The subscription form requires consent from the Member to provide address and payment information.

This data is used to verify the subscription and process the transactions.

The data is transmitted over secure channels to the card processing Gateway (Stripe.com)

We never know your full card data - it is encrypted and sent directly to Stripe.

The expiry date and last four numbers are stored to allow Clients to check their accounts - as per credit card rules (PCIDSS).

Members can access their records at any time by clicking on the Manage Your Account link in the footer.

Members can unsubscribe at any time and the service will be terminated accordingly.

Transactional data is retained for accounting and legal requirements.

Right of Access - Members can verify their information at any time using the Manage Your Account link in the Members Area footer.

Community Discussions

We provide our community members with an online community platform that makes it possible to connect with other members. To protect your privacy when posting or replying to messages in the community, your personal information and email is not revealed.

However, remember that any information you disclose in the community areas can be read by all other members, so exercise caution when deciding to disclose personal information.

Member and Discussion Forum Guidelines

We require that all our members abide by these guidelines.

• Please respect the privacy of other members by keeping confidential our discussions and by not sharing information about them outside of this community. Your privacy will also be respected in this way.

• Please do not share your log in passwords and user names. Only one person should sign in using a given username. 

• Please use your own name when posting to the discussion forums. Do not impersonate anyone else.

• No bulk e-mail, junk mail or spam, chain letters, or repeat postings of the same message are permitted anywhere in the community.

• Civility and kindness need to mark the tenor of all discussions. Even where disagreements occur, please treat others with courtesy and respect. Postings that include marked derogatory, angry, critical, sarcastic or inflammatory comments may be deleted from the discussion.

• Please be aware of the language you are using and its impact on others. All words carry energy and we ask that you refrain from swearing, vulgarity, obscenity, profanity, ethnic slurs, hate speech, or sexually explicit language. Please do not harass, abuse, or threaten other members in the discussion forums.

• The opinions, recommendations and experiences shared by our community members are not necessarily those of World Blessings. Please exercise your own discrimination when asking for advice or support.

• Please avoid shouting (using all capital letters) in the community forums.

• The person posting a message is solely responsible for it. We reserve the right to terminate your access to the community if these guidelines are not respected.

• Do not reprint, republish, repost, or otherwise distribute or transmit content or images presented on this site.  Unauthorized use of or copying of our content, trademarks, and other proprietary material can subject you to civil or even criminal liability. 

• We do not try to edit or to monitor messages posted on the discussion forums, but we reserve the right to edit or remove objectionable postings. The person posting a message is solely responsible for it, not this site. Violators may be permanently banned from using the forums, or even have their subscriptions terminated.

Member Profiles

The profile pages are set to instruct search engines to not index or follow the information on the page. You can edit various fields in your profile to be not seen by anyone, or to be visible in the Member's Directory.

As with anything else online, do not post any information that you wish to remain private. The site owners reserve the right to remove any content that they feel is offensive, illegal or objectionable to their standards. Please report any possible concerns to the webmaster of this site.

Security

We use a variety of security measures including encryption and authentication from Thawte to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of your personal information under our control.

Choice/Opt-In

Our site gives users the opportunity to opt-in to receive communications from us. You can be assured that we never reveal, sell, or make available your email address to anyone for any purpose.

This site also gives users options for removing their information from our database in order to stop receiving our communications.

Facebook Comments

In the past this site used Facebook commenting, which is no longer available here.   For those who used this feature, Facebook stores all of your comments and may show them on your timeline, depending on your Facebook settings.
