The Holiness of this Moment
There is a moment before the dawn breaks when everything appears quite dark, and one waits for the first rays of light to make their appearance. There is in this waiting, infinite hope, infinite joy, infinite expectation, for the day always dawns and the night always disappears. So, too, must it be perceived that in relation to spiritual energies that hover over the earth, the night of darkness covering all else will give rise to the dawn of new light as inevitably as the morning follows the night, however in its own time. There can be no other resolution to the order of God's Creation, for light is intrinsically more powerful than darkness, and no matter what the power of the dark to cover all aspirations, to deny all hope, to create despair and despondency on all levels, it must be that the day will dawn because the victory of light over darkness is assured.
What is important and most sacred about this time of waiting for the dawn of new light is the remembrance of the promise made in the beginning: "I, the Lord, change not, and ye, O sons of Jacob, shall not be consumed." Thus was it then, and is it now, that God shall not let his beloved children remain covered in darkness no matter how it may appear in the moment. The day is rapidly approaching of new light and new beginning. It is coming more quickly than it appears because its movement is invisible and there is nothing within the landscape of the darkness with which to measure it. Nevertheless, it is a movement of light's expansion that is taking place under cover of night, and it shall give rise to a burst of glorious light in its own way and time according to the fulfillment of God's promise. The problem is one of waiting in hope and trust, and of not giving in to despair. Also, of trying to find ways of being at peace even during this most difficult and trying time. There are no sure answers as to how to accomplish this, since for each individual the answer is slightly different. And yet it is possible to be at peace during a time of waiting in darkness, knowing that all is moving ahead according to a Divine schedule, and that this expansion is occurring, even if unseen. There is no other basis for hope other than the knowledge that God IS, and that therefore the triumph of light over darkness also shall be. This is not a flimsy belief that one tells oneself in order to gain comfort, but rather the deepest truth in the Universe. Therefore, beloved children of God, as you wait, seek the expression of your own Divine being in all that you do and in all that is possible for you to accomplish during this time, for all that brings you in closer alignment with the Divine within you will also help you wait through this time. We love you and we bless you with all the blessings of the spiritual universe. Blessings and amen.
