Spiritual Identity
Dearest Ones, I read your blessings and I constantly doubt that I am one of whom you speak. My life is so full of daily life and my conscious thoughts most of the time, are so far from devotion to God, that I think you can't mean me. How can I reconcile my lack of singular devotion to God to believe that I am a lightworker at this time? Thank you for all your love and devotion to all of us. Dearest Beth, We give thanks for your question, for there are many who are undergoing a similar experience and we hope to assist both you and all those who struggle with the deep desire to serve God, and yet experience mixed motivations where one part of the self vibrates purely with the deep desire to love God, and another part of the self still carries fear, doubt, mistrust that God is real, and uncertainty over whether God can truly be trusted. When there is fear and doubt, there is a part of the self that holds back from loving God fully and surrendering completely to the inner fire of devotion that burns purely within each soul, that exists as the inner light that leads the soul Home to a full experience of One-ness with God's love, peace and truth. What will become of me if I surrender completely, if I love God completely? The embodied human self that has experienced many lifetimes on the Earth has grown accustomed to the experience of separated consciousness, where "I" am alone and must fend for myself. When the soul has learned all that it could through the avenues of separated consciousness, the soul's longing to return Home to God's love begins to flicker within the heart, growing stronger and thus beginning the soul's first steps towards a more conscious spiritual path. As the longing for God's love grows stronger, the light from the soul and from God, who hears the cry of that soul, begins a process of purification which begins the process of healing and re-balancing all that has been out of balance and out of harmony with God's love. During the process of purification, the inner experience of identity begins to shift. The time spent in separated consciousness created an identity that assisted the person in learning the lessons of that time. The person sees themself as a separate being, and much of the experience of "who am I" is connected with the thoughts, feelings, body sensations, roles and responsibilities that are experienced by the embodied self. During the process of purification, many previously unbearable thoughts, feelings, memories and body sensations begin to surface. This experience can be especially distressing in the earlier stages of purification because the person's sense of self is still very much identified with the thoughts and feelings passing through. That is why it is so important to have a consistent source of spiritual support during the process of purification, to help anchor light, so that the person can have a new experience of their larger self, rather than becoming submerged in the energies, thoughts and feelings that are releasing. As purification progresses, the person is able to dis-identify more and more from the thoughts and feelings passing through, and as they do this, a new experience of the self begins to emerge. This transition from the old identity to the new does not happen overnight. It is a process, and during the process there are distinct and progressive steps taken towards greater love and greater faith. These steps are taken at points of decision and choice within a lifetime, and the timing of when a soul is able to choose a path of greater love and greater surrender, is unique to each soul. There is no judgment in God's heart, so if a soul carries fear and is not able to step forward into greater faith and love at any given time, another opportunity will be presented either later in that lifetime or at another time in the soul's development. The soul learns always, at its own pace, and it is for this reason that it is not useful to compare one's own spiritual development with others ... for each flower in God's garden is singularly unique and precious, and walking the path of life for a purpose that only God and that soul fully understands. Dearest Beth, you are in a profound transition, walking the path between an old, deeply entrenched experience of separated consciousness, and a glorious and magnificent new awareness of Oneness with God's heart. Your conscious self has experienced only brief glimmers of this awareness, but your soul knows and deeply trusts this New Life. The seeds of New Life have already been planted within you and within your heart. You have faithfully watered the seeds, and when you could not, God and those who love you watered them for you. The seeds have taken root and are waiting for God's spring to emerge into the light of day for all to see. Your struggles with this transitional consciousness are not a sign of lack of devotion to God, but rather an expression of the significance and magnitude of the transition. Your hearts longing is the true measure of who you are and what purpose your soul has chosen to be here on the Earth now. The current energy configuration on the Earth, which covers the full experience of God's light, magnifies the difficulties you experience but cannot change to reality of your soul's purpose, which you will come to know and experience more fully as the divine seeds of the New take shape in the times ahead. We bless your work and all aspects of your daily life. Each time you are able to remember God within your daily life, you do so not just for the New you that is being born, but for all of humanity who will benefit from the pathway you open within your consciousness. With all love and blessings, Amen Share your thoughts and connect with others at our discussion forum.
