Daily Blessings Issue #132 -- Encouragement

Hello Dear Ones,


The storms of the earth changes, and the accelerated transformation happening for all of humanity, are bringing up a great intensity of emotion for many people. With so much happening, on multiple levels of reality, we wish to offer love, comfort and peace to all those who are challenged, tired, overwhelmed or suffering.

God's love is a soothing balm that can bring nourishment, comfort and peace to any difficult situation, however during times of great upheaval and change, it may be difficult to find rest and peace, hope and strength.

For this time we offer a guided meditation which can assist to opening the pathways of Light so that you are able to feel a clearer and direct connection to the Light of God which sustains you.

Find a quiet place in your home, preferably in front of your altar or other sacred space. Sit comfortably with your spine straight, and place your hand over your heart.

Now, as your body begins to relax, become aware of your breath. Feel how the breath has its own life, which is God's life in you. As the breath comes in, ask that more of God's Light enter your body, and your heart. Feel the Light circulating in your body, nourishing and cleansing and opening you. Receive the Light and rest within it.

At some point that will happen naturally within your meditation, become aware of your exhale. As the breath leaves your body, ask that all tension, stress, negativity and fear be released from your body. Allow this to happen naturally, gently and gradually. Feel the relief as your body is unburdened and freed from old energies, and notice that your body begins to feel lighter.

Now, as you close your meditation, become aware once again of your inhalation, feeling the natural flow of God's Light moving into your body. Notice how your body feels, notice your emotional state.

At this time, make a heartfelt prayer to God, asking for that which you most deeply desire in your life and your spiritual path. Ask for healing and strength for yourself and for those you love. Send the Light to those in your life that are in need of spiritual support, and give thanks to God for the Light and support you are feeling.

When your meditation is complete, ask those that guide you spiritually to continue to be present with you, sending love and support and encouragement throughout the day.

This meditation can be repeated daily, as a way of attuning more deeply to God's reality, and as a way of receiving more deeply the spiritual support that is available and present in your life.
